MVP is a web service that allows coaches, athletic directors and state associations to manage all aspects of high school sports and activities, including student eligibility, team rosters, tournaments, statistics and reporting. MVP is currently powering the New Mexico Activities Association and will be driving high school athletics and activities in Virginia and North Dakota for the Fall 2008 school year. User Management: Roles

MVP has a distributed user management system that allows your members schools to keep track of and manage users from their school. Access to the system is role based and is controlled by both your association and your member schools. Before a user can access the system they must have an approved role.

MVP gives the Athletic Director extensive flexibility and control over users' roles, including:

  • Users may request multiple roles at a selected school, as well as roles at different schools in your state's system
  • ADs have extensive control over users and roles, custom permission schemes, approval / denial of requested roles
  • Create default role labels and default role permission settings

School Management

Manage your school's profile information, including:

  • Comprehensive school profile, such as school mascot and colors, interactive map, contact information
  • Membership status, dues and renewal information for member schools
  • Special information such as parking information for tournaments and gym capacity

District & Region Alignments

MVP provides the association system administrator with comprehensive management of alignments, including:

  • Set up and manage districts, divisions, regions, and classes
  • Change alignments at any time during the school year
  • Review all alignments by sport and activity, by school, by district, by region or by other alignment structure

Team & Roster Management

MVP provides coaches and ADs with powerful tools for managing rosters and eligibility, including:

  • Create and manage rosters for each sport and activity, including Junior Varsity (A&B), C, and Varsity teams
  • Add new and currently enrolled students to team rosters
  • Control over student eligibility: creation, submittal, approval and updated eligibility reports

Contest Management

MVP provides the ADs with extensive, powerful scheduling tools for sports and school activities, including:

  • Tournament scheduling: invite teams, publish detailed tournament information, create and manage tournament brackets
  • Schedule with out-of-state and private schools
  • Automate creation of master schedules at district and regional levels

Record, Report and Display Scores

MVP provides association system administrators with a feature-rich set of scoring tools, including:

  • Automatically advance winning teams if the contest is a bracketed tournament
  • Subscribe and receive automatic notification of score reports
  • View standings at the district, region and class level
